This extended into the gameplay as well, with each character serving a specific function in the welfare of Noctis and his journey towards becoming king. Final Fantasy games are known for their cast of characters, and XV delivered on this front as Noctis, Gladio, Prompto, and Ignis truly act like brothers in arms. The main characters, Prince Noctis and his three stalwart friends, are definitely the highlight of this game.
